This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Advocate for Allegion's professional architectural consulting services focused on Division 08 and Division 28.
• Oversee projects that integrate Division 8 door hardware with Division 28 electronic access control solutions while ensuring adherence to codes.
• Cultivate relationships with industry design professionals to enhance demand for Allegion's brands and architectural services.
• Identify target accounts and manage account goals for both short- and long-term growth.
• Facilitate architectural education sessions, AIA Lunch and Learns, and networking events within the industry.
• Secure specification-writing opportunities from selected architectural accounts.
• Conduct project review meetings, collect project details, and establish mutually agreed scopes of work.
• Oversee specification projects throughout their lifecycle and update schedules and stakeholders accordingly.
• Monitor new project opportunities using lead databases and industry connections.
• Seek construction leads and request RFAs where Allegion is not an approved supplier.
• Initiate Architectural Consulting Agreements with firms.
• Work collaboratively with the wider sales team on specification projects and monthly evaluations.
• Provide mentorship and professional development to colleagues.
• Keep up-to-date with industry and competitor product information.
• Maintain a precise CRM sales pipeline and project documentation.
• Engage in ongoing education and participate in local AIA, CSI, and DHI events.
• Ensure compliance with Allegion's policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of business development or technical experience.
• Fundamental understanding of security system integrations and electronic components.
• Capability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation capabilities.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM software.
• Proven experience in influencing others with a proactive approach.
• Strong focus on customer service.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% within the territory.
• Experience in architecture, construction, door hardware, or access control is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
