This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Advocate for architects and landscape architects to include our systems in design specifications.
• Collaborate with the internal ORE team for expert advice on structural attachments, wind uplift, and load performance.
• Work with our internal design team to coordinate custom detailing and integration into project drawings.
• Partner with the ORE Estimating team for take-offs and the assessment of architectural and structural plans for pricing.
• Team up with the ORE Design Development team to create tailored system solutions for projects.
• Evaluate intricate architectural and structural drawings to determine project requirements.
• Convey performance standards (wind, structural, irrigation, and drainage) by involving internal specialists from Design Development, Engineering, and/or Estimating when technical reviews are necessary.
• Oversee the incorporation of lighting, audio, seating, and guardrails into modular systems by collaborating with internal Design Development experts.
• Manage long-term projects and the essential phases of the sales process (12–24-month cycles).
• Monitor projects from design development to construction using CRM NetSuite.
• Establish and nurture relationships within the architect–GC–subcontractor triad.
• Present Lunch & Learn sessions and educational workshops on ORE products and systems.
• Meet monthly and quarterly revenue objectives.
• Over 5 years of experience in architectural product sales, landscape architectural products, site furnishings, building envelope systems, structural systems, architectural metals, or related construction products.
• Proven track record in navigating the architectural sales process, ensuring product specifications, and securing project awards.
• Experience traversing the complete building lifecycle (design → bid → award).
• Established capability to lead significant projects and maintain communication within architectural and GC networks.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans.
• Technical knowledge of load-bearing systems or structurally attached products.
• Familiarity with applicable codes (IBC, wind load requirements, performance standards).
• Knowledge of SolidWorks or comparable 3D modeling software to coordinate with internal Design Development and CAD teams.
• Experienced with CRM systems (Salesforce, NetSuite, etc.).
• LEED Accreditation.
• CSI Certification (CDT preferred).
• Experience in delivering AIA CEU presentations.
• PMP Certification preferred.
