Software Engineer – Salesforce Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain Salesforce applications and platform functionalities utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and various Salesforce technologies across multiple organizations.

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for features and enhancements for STP, from technical design and estimation to implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch support.

• Create and manage integrations between Salesforce and both internal and external systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware platforms, and ETL tools to ensure dependable cross-system data flows.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, administrators, and business stakeholders from Sales, Compliance, Legal, and Institutional Ops to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, design evaluations, documentation of technical patterns and runbooks, and mentoring of IC3 and contractor developers.

• Ensure operational excellence by participating in on-call rotations, triaging production issues, performing root cause analysis, and enhancing critical platform services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer or a comparable Salesforce-focused engineering position, with extensive expertise in Apex, LWC, Flows, security/sharing models, packaging, and release management.

• Proven experience in designing intricate Salesforce solutions within Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, or Experience Cloud, including case management, Omni-Channel routing, or partner portals.

• Practical experience in building and managing integrations between Salesforce and other systems using REST APIs, Platform Events, middleware/automation platforms, and ETL tools.

• Strong grounding in software engineering principles, including testable architectures, version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and managing multi-sandbox environments.

• Responsibly utilizes generative AI while maintaining human oversight to deliver business-ready results and achieve measurable improvements in workflow efficiency, cost, and quality.

• Exhibits the ability to effectively use generative AI tools and copilots (e.g., LibreChat, Gemini, Glean) in everyday tasks, continuously adapting as tools progress, and applying human-in-the-loop practices to produce business-ready outputs and enhance efficiency, cost, and quality.
