Arborist Trainee, Climber – Transmission

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Vermont.

📋 Description

• Manually removing vegetation from designated work areas

• Applying pesticides as needed

• Safely operating a variety of forestry equipment, including skidders, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs

• Conducting line clearance, pruning, and tree removals

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work 45 hours per week

• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification

• A current and valid driver’s license is required, along with reliable transportation

• Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions

• Physical capability to meet the demands of the role (i.e., walking on uneven terrain, lifting up to 75 lbs.)

• Willingness to work at various heights

• Openness to learning how to operate a bucket truck and other equipment safely

• Willingness to obtain a CDL A or B license

• Commitment to acquiring and maintaining necessary licenses and certifications for career advancement

• Successful completion of a post-offer physical, drug screening, and background/motor vehicle check is required.
