Arborist Trainee

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Manually clear vegetation from designated work areas

• Utilize pesticides as required

• Operate forestry equipment safely, including skidders, mowers, chainsaws, and ATVs

• Conduct line clearance, pruning, and tree removals

• Acquire knowledge of the tree-care industry through paid practical training

• Engage in outdoor physical labor throughout the year

• Advance through licensing, certifications, and career growth opportunities

⛳️ Requirements

• No prior experience in the tree industry is necessary

• Open to entry-level candidates

• Must be available to work 45 hours per week

• Minimum age requirement is 18 years

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required

• Must possess a current and valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Physically capable of walking on uneven surfaces and lifting up to 75 lbs.

• Willingness to work at different heights

• Eagerness to learn how to operate a bucket truck and machinery safely

• Willingness to obtain a CDL A or B license

• Commitment to acquire and maintain necessary licenses and certifications for the role

• Successful completion of a post-offer physical examination and drug screening

• Successful completion of a background and motor vehicle record check

• Ability and readiness to learn skills related to felling, climbing, rigging, equipment operation, and vegetation management
