Arabic <> English Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Professionally answer calls while adhering to the Interpreter's code of conduct.

• Always be prepared to take notes during calls.

• Familiarize yourself with specific vocabulary pertinent to the industry, particularly healthcare and medical terminology.

• Accurately convey all messages in their entirety without adding, omitting, or substituting any content.

• Deliver the highest standard of customer service during the interpretation process.

• Facilitate effective communication between clients with Limited English Proficiency and clients by providing accurate and complete interpretation.

• Apply established standards of practice.

• Participate in internal professional training.

• Show eagerness to obtain new professional certifications.

• Communicate and report effectively to your team leader.

• Adhere to dress code requirements for video remote interpreting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in the source language (English) and a native speaker of the target language "Arabic."

• A minimum of 1 year of telephone interpretation experience with a reputable interpretation company.

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.

• Familiarity with legal terminology is advantageous.

• International certifications in the healthcare sector are a plus (e.g., PICSI, ALTA, HIPAA, etc.).

• A high school diploma in your native language.

• High emotional intelligence and tolerance for diverse cultures.

• Excellent communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
