This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Demonstrates the capability to manage all aspects of an accounts receivable management system, which includes, but is not limited to, billing, claim corrections, reconciliation, payment posting, handling refunds/credit balances, providing customer service, and conducting follow-ups in accordance with departmental protocols, focusing on enhancing patient satisfaction and profitability.
• Depending on the assigned role, may be tasked with reviewing claim information for accuracy and offering feedback to both clinical and non-clinical departments regarding claim inaccuracies and/or denials, as well as providing coverage in areas not primarily assigned when necessary to ensure smooth and professional operations while maximizing patient satisfaction.
• An Associate Degree or a High School Diploma accompanied by four (4) years of experience as an Accounts Receivable analyst in a hospital environment.
• Professional certification from AAHAM, HFMA, or EPIC is preferred.
• Comprehensive knowledge of and proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft software, along with computerized patient accounting systems.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is required.
