This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Accountable for monitoring and resolving outstanding payment issues and providing timely monthly collections reports.
• Delivering customer support concerning collection matters, processing refunds, reviewing and implementing account adjustments, and resolving discrepancies and short payments.
• Tasked with overseeing and managing accounts, including customer calls, account modifications, small balance write-offs, customer deductions, reconciliations, and credit memo processing.
• Collaborate with the Cash Application team, Sales Tax Department, Customer Service, and other internal teams as needed to effectively reconcile accounts.
• Engage sales and senior management when necessary to expedite the collection process.
• Maintain ongoing communication and promptly follow up with the sales department regarding customer accounts.
• Oversee customers in the credit hold queue.
• Keep updated customer credit files.
• Address requests for credit references.
• Suggest modifications in the credit policy to senior management.
• Assess the creditworthiness of accounts and review findings with management as necessary.
• Execute additional assigned tasks and ad hoc duties to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
• Participate in daily huddles and weekly and monthly meetings to address and resolve A/R related issues.
• Involved in AR-related projects such as Avalara and Bill Trust.
• Achieve established department goals and activity metrics.
• Review direct reports’ timecards to ensure accurate and complete recording of employee hours.
• Authorize employee timecards at the end of each pay period, prior to supervisor deadlines.
• Assist employees in correcting errors (missing punches, adjustments, etc.).
• Evaluate and approve PTO requests.
• Preferred Qualifications: Key Performance Measures include Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), Electronic Billing percentage in dollars, Electronic Payments percentage in dollars, Bad Debt Write-off percentage, and Improvements Implemented.
