• Examine sales orders against signed agreements to ensure the accuracy of items, pricing, billing schedules, and revenue recognition setup.
• Track accounts receivable aging and guarantee timely collection of outstanding balances.
• Implement credit control procedures, including escalation and write-offs in accordance with internal policies.
• Assist with client administrative tasks, including invoice uploads, vendor forms, and payment confirmations.
• Evaluate variances and pinpoint discrepancies in revenue and deferred revenue balances.
• Verify the accuracy of billing-related data and rectify issues in sales orders, invoices, and client records.
• Aid in enhancing billing guidelines and minimizing recurring issues.
• Enhance the structure and consistency of client and billing-related processes to decrease manual effort and recurring inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve accounts receivable and payment mismatches, such as partial payments, bank charges, and withholding taxes.
• 4–6+ years of pertinent experience in accounts receivable, billing, or order-to-cash processes, ideally in an international or SaaS environment.
• Strong practical experience with Netsuite or similar systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Navision, and the ability to work with integrated systems (e.g. Salesforce).
• Comprehensive understanding of order-to-cash processes, including client master data, billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue-related reconciliations.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to validate data against contracts, systems, and accounting records.
• Competence in managing high volumes of operational tasks and addressing frequent internal and external inquiries in a structured manner.
• Good grasp of core accounting principles and how billing and revenue influence financial reporting.
• Ability to identify inefficiencies in existing processes and participate in enhancing workflows to reduce manual efforts.
• Experience collaborating with external stakeholders (clients, sales teams, or service providers) is a plus.
