A/R Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Full-cycle accounts receivable accounting: review, assignment of accounts, and posting of outgoing invoices with an emphasis on B2B transactions.

• Dunning and cash collection: autonomously oversee the dunning processes and track outstanding items.

• Cash application and bank reconciliation: manage the allocation of incoming payments and reconcile bank accounts.

• Month-end and year-end closing: actively engage in closing activities, including account reconciliations and provisions.

• Process optimization: recognize areas for improvement and actively contribute to developing scalable, automated accounts receivable processes.

• Systems: proficient daily use of DATEV, AccountOne, and CountX.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte, all genders) or hold a similar degree, with a solid foundation in accounting (HGB / German GAAP).

• You possess several years of professional experience in accounts receivable accounting, preferably within the B2B and/or eCommerce sectors.

• You are highly skilled in DATEV; familiarity with tools such as AccountOne and CountX or similar is advantageous.

• You are fluent in German at a minimum C1 level and English at a B2 level.
