AQA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for healthcare applications, with a focus on HL7 interface testing and claims processing modules.

• Create, build, and sustain comprehensive Playwright automated test suites for claims, enrollment, and member-facing portal workflows.

• Validate the flow of inbound and outbound HL7 messages, including parsing, mapping, and acknowledgment handling.

• Conduct end-to-end testing of claims submission, adjudication, remittance, and denial workflows.

• Enhance and stabilize the Playwright regression suite while managing execution time and minimizing flakiness.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects until resolution using bug-tracking tools like Jira and Azure DevOps.

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Validate EDI transaction sets for accuracy and adherence to compliance standards.

• Ensure systems meet HIPAA regulations and healthcare industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in test automation.

• At least 1 year of experience in building automation suites using Playwright.

• Proficient in Playwright with knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.

• Strong understanding of HL7 v2.x message types, such as ADT, ORM, ORU, and DFT.

• Experience with HL7 interface testing.

• Knowledge of the medical claims lifecycle, covering enrollment, eligibility, claims submission, adjudication, and EOB/remittance.

• Familiarity with EDI healthcare transactions, including X12 837P/837I, 835, and 270/271.

• Practical experience in building and maintaining automated tests using Playwright.

• Skilled with test management and defect tracking tools.

• Experience with HL7 FHIR or other modern interoperability frameworks.

• Proficient in SQL for data validation and backend verification.

• Knowledgeable in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.

• Experience integrating Playwright suites into CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.

• Capable of API-level test automation using Playwright request context or similar tools.

• Understanding of HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
