AQA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Create, maintain, and enhance automated end-to-end test suites utilizing Playwright and TypeScript.

• Design test frameworks that are scalable and maintainable, adhering to automation best practices.

• Incorporate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI.

• Evaluate test execution outcomes and probe into test failures.

• Work collaboratively with developers to replicate, isolate, and fix defects.

• Engage in feature planning, requirement assessments, and discussions on test strategies.

• Keep test documentation and automation reports up to date.

• Enhance automation coverage and reduce test execution times.

• Assist with manual testing tasks as needed.

• Collaborate with REST APIs and create automated API tests.

• Utilize Docker as part of the test automation and development workflow.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in QA Automation.

• Proficient in TypeScript.

• Practical experience with Playwright.

• Background in building and sustaining automated UI test frameworks.

• Familiarity with Git and GitLab.

• Experience in setting up or managing Jenkins pipelines.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes.

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.

• Experience with REST APIs.

• Background in API automation.

• Capability to produce clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

• Strong analytical and debugging abilities.

• Experience with Docker.

• Understanding of SQL.

• Proficient written English skills.

• Preferred: experience with BrowserStack or similar cloud testing platforms, performance or load testing tools, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and Asana.
