Appraisal Inspector, Reviewer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support on-site property evaluations and conduct final assessments of appraisal reports.

• Primarily concentrate on inspection obligations, requiring over 50% travel each month.

• Conduct final assessments of client deliverables for inspected projects to ensure compliance with USPAP for site descriptions, physical improvements, and surrounding area descriptions.

• Supervise the creation of necessary exhibits and memos that illustrate inspections.

• Frequently travel to on-site properties as per assigned work requests.

• Manage travel logistics and related expense reports.

• Engage in internal and external client meetings as required.

• Foster relationships with market and business line leaders to share best practices, drive innovation, and maintain quality and consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must live in or be within commuting distance of the Indianapolis, IN metropolitan area.

• Hold a currently issued and active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license in at least one state, with a commitment to obtaining licenses in additional states.

• A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, though not mandatory.

• Strategic knowledge of commercial real estate appraisal is essential.

• Possess a valid driver's license and the ability to travel easily between states.

• Previous experience and proficiency with Microsoft products, particularly Outlook and Teams.

• An active Certified General Appraiser License is mandatory.

• Must be capable of driving to asset tours; air travel may also be needed.

• Clear communication skills in person, via telephone, and through emails are required.

• Adequate visual acuity to perform job duties, including reading information from printed materials and computer screens.

• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English.
