Appraisal Inspector

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support on-site property evaluations and conduct final assessments of appraisal reports.

• Concentrate on inspection criteria and undertake frequent travel (over 50% each month).

• Ensure appraisal documents adhere to USPAP standards.

• Supervise the creation of necessary exhibits and memos to illustrate inspections.

• Manage travel arrangement needs and related expense reports.

• Engage in internal and external client meetings as required.

• Cultivate robust relationships with market and business line leaders to share best practices, foster innovation, and maintain quality and consistency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Certified General Real Estate Appraiser license issued in at least one state, with a willingness to obtain licenses in additional states.

• MAI designation or candidacy is preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally (though not mandatory) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another relevant discipline.

• Strategic insight into commercial real estate appraisal.

• Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel easily between states.

• Strong attention to detail along with excellent time and calendar management skills are highly desired.

• Previous experience and proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly Outlook and Teams.

• Active Certified General Appraiser License is mandatory.
