This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain fraud detection models throughout the entire model development process, encompassing data acquisition choices, featurization, labeling, training, experimentation, productionalization, and monitoring.

• Establish fundamental modeling for Fraud and Financial Risk products.

• Investigate emerging fraud types and develop products focused on identity verification.

• Continuously refine research and development, integrate new data sources, and implement innovative feature engineering.

• Write production-ready code to facilitate real-time decision-making for partners.

• Create, execute, and present analyses that guide data acquisition, product development, risk operations, marketing, and sales.

• Work in partnership with engineering, risk operations, and data acquisition teams to secure necessary data, uphold data quality, and assist with data access.

• Serve as the technical authority in a specific domain and engage in high-visibility, high-impact projects across the organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience/research.

• Solid grounding in machine learning, statistics, or applied data science.

• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with common data science tools through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects.

• Proven ability to analyze complex issues and create data-driven solutions.

• Excellent communication skills with the capability to convey technical concepts clearly.

• Enthusiasm for gaining in-depth knowledge about fraud, identity, and financial risk systems.

• Skill in writing clean, maintainable code.

• Keen attention to detail and a curiosity about real-world data challenges.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment while addressing diverse, high-impact, open-ended challenges.
