Applied Machine Learning Engineer – All Levels

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and manage machine-learning models that yield tangible business results.

• Engage in the complete ML lifecycle encompassing data analysis, feature engineering, model creation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous enhancement.

• Prioritize pair programming and test-driven development to guarantee high-quality and dependable solutions.

• Assist in model development, testing, and deployment as an entry-level engineer.

• Construct and implement production-ready ML models as a mid-level engineer.

• Oversee comprehensive ML projects and guide junior engineers as a senior-level engineer.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (preferably in a STEM field).

• Entry-Level: 0–2 years of experience (academic, internships, or professional).

• Mid-Level: 3+ years of experience in building ML solutions.

• Senior-Level: 3+ years of experience in deploying and managing ML systems.

• Proficiency in Python (including libraries such as pandas, numpy, and scikit-learn) along with foundational software engineering skills.

• Familiarity with ML libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM.

• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow is advantageous.

• SQL skills for data analysis and feature engineering.

• Understanding of model evaluation and interpretability (e.g., SHAP).
