Applied Gen AI/Data Scientist Graduate Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +45 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and prototype applications powered by Generative AI.

• Assess and enhance outputs from Large Language Models.

• Investigate cutting-edge AI methodologies and upcoming technologies.

• Design and verify AI use cases centered around healthcare.

• Engage with Generative AI, Large Language Models, AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and orchestration frameworks.

• Execute experiments and evaluate models.

• Collaborate with AI researchers, data scientists, machine learning engineers, software developers, engineering teams, and analytics teams.

• Document research findings.

• Deliver recommendations and demonstrations to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Take part in the planning and execution of unit projects and initiatives.

• Conduct research and provide reports, including suggestions or alternative proposals.

• Perform related studies, enrichment programs, and other assigned responsibilities.

• Candidates must possess authorization to work independently in the U.S.

• This position does not offer visa sponsorship.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• Enrollment in a graduate degree program, either full or part-time, at an accredited college or university.

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field is preferred.

• Proficient programming skills in Python are preferred.
