Applied Economics & Finance Benchmark Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create original and thought-provoking multiple-choice questions in the fields of economics and finance.

• Assess and validate existing questions for accuracy, clarity, rigor, completeness, precision, and solvability.

• Classify question difficulty levels as Medium, Hard, or Expert.

• Provide one correct answer along with nine plausible yet subtly incorrect alternatives.

• Develop step-by-step solutions formatted in markdown.

• Include 1–5 academic references per question from credible sources.

• Identify issues and provide justifications for any edits made during the verification process.

• Contribute to the development of gold-standard benchmarks for AI research and assist in training cutting-edge AI models.

⛳️ Requirements

• PhD or doctoral candidate in Economics, Finance, or a closely related discipline.

• A Master's degree may be acceptable for candidates with exceptional expertise in a specific subdomain.

• Strong understanding of graduate-level economic theory, quantitative methods, and financial modeling.

• Experience in academic research, CFA/CPA certification, or expertise in the financial industry is highly advantageous.

• Exceptional written English skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.

• Anticipated commitment of 10+ hours per week.

• Must function as an independent contractor.
