This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership and lead the complete architecture, solution design, and implementation of agentic AI solutions for enterprise clients across various industries.

• Develop and construct reusable agentic accelerators and reference architectures that align with the Intelligence Platform, suitable for deployment across multiple clients in a fixed-price model.

• Convert ambiguous business challenges into well-defined agentic solution designs that are in harmony with the phData Intelligence Platform, methodologies, standards, and best practices.

• Design production-quality agents with a focus on reliability, scalability, security, observability, and strategies for evaluation and guardrails to ensure safe and accurate performance before and after deployment.

• Guarantee that projects are delivered on schedule, within the defined scope, and provide measurable business value to clients.

• Collaborate with others to define the architectural standards for the development and deployment of agentic capabilities and accelerators at client sites.

• Work with cross-functional partners, including forward-deployed engineers, data scientists, data engineers, platform/DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful client engagements.

• Maintain high standards in deliverables through code reviews, documentation, testing, governance, and compliance with security standards.

• Collaborate with practice and account leaders to identify opportunities for expanding engagements, enhancing delivery, and standardizing patterns for the deployment and operation of AI solutions.

• Contribute to internal initiatives, including IP development, accelerators, reference architectures, templates, playbooks, and training related to AI engineering.

• Represent phData professionally in all interactions, ensuring clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, shaping roadmaps, influencing strategic decisions, and guiding long-term initiatives.

• Mentor and coach team members, promoting a culture of learning, feedback, and continuous improvement.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience as an AI Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Software Engineer, or Data Engineer, specializing in the construction and deployment of production AI/ML solutions, including recent hands-on experience with LLM-powered or agentic applications.

• Practical knowledge of Large Language Models, agentic architectures, and retrieval frameworks (RAG), including prompt design, context engineering, and tool/function calling.

• Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex) and the broader agentic ecosystem, including multi-agent patterns, memory, planning, and protocols (e.g., MCP).

• Experience in designing evaluation, guardrail, and observability strategies for LLM and agent systems (LLMOps/AgentOps).

• Proficient in modern programming languages, particularly Python, with experience in developing APIs.

• Extensive expertise in cloud-native AI/ML platforms (e.g., AWS Bedrock and SageMaker, Azure AI/ML, Snowflake Cortex) with demonstrated experience in deploying solutions to production.

• Comprehensive software development lifecycle experience, encompassing design, documentation, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing operations.

• Proven ability to utilize AI-assisted development tools to expedite delivery while ensuring quality.

• Strong command of SQL, with the capability to write, debug, and optimize complex and distributed queries.

• Experience delivering projects for external or internal clients in a professional services or consulting setting, preferably in a fixed-bid arrangement.

• Aptitude for breaking down ambiguous problems into structured, actionable steps and driving them to completion.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience in presenting technical solutions to clients and facilitating discussions with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams across the US, LATAM, and India.

• Demonstrated history of taking ownership, managing multiple priorities, and delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
