Applied AI Engineering Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create technical solutions that enable engineers to assess and implement data and AI innovations.

• Provide consultation on architecture, execute proof of concepts, and deliver solutions for strategic business projects, including data science and machine learning systems.

• Develop and showcase product architectures, write technical code, and present applications to stakeholders.

• Acquire hands-on experience with the Innovator Method, Game Theory, and DecisionIQ, transforming customer insights into solutions that generate genuine business value.

• Enhance your expertise in cloud platforms, databases, data engineering, web design, AI technologies, and numerical methods.

• Utilize your strengths to assist team members and foster cross-functional relationships throughout the organization.

• Strive to deliver production-ready solutions that align with business requirements and create a significant impact.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university or recognized software accelerator program.

• Must be eligible to work in Germany; this position is classified as a student role under German payroll.

• Strong academic record in Computer Science or other STEM fields.

• Experience in designing AI solutions and architecting distributed data systems.

• Proficient in programming and debugging with Python, C#, C++, and SQL.

• Customer-focused mindset with the capability to lead design thinking workshops.

• Practical experience in at least one of the following areas: Machine Learning, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Computer Vision.

• Familiarity with building solutions using public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Preferred qualifications include AWS and/or Azure certification.
