This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Take full ownership of internal tools from start to finish - encompassing problem identification, design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
• Develop across the entire stack as required by the product: utilizing Python/Go services on Cloud Run, TypeScript web applications, internal administrative tools, event-driven integrations via Pub/Sub, and cloud infrastructure on GCP.
• Connect with third-party SaaS platforms and cloud APIs, managing REST, webhooks, OAuth, and event-driven patterns, including addressing failures, retries, and schema drift.
• Create and sustain workflow automation and business process orchestration as named, observable flows rather than embedding logic within vendor scripts.
• Effectively leverage AI tools throughout the development lifecycle - from specification, coding, to review - guiding Claude as a coding partner while taking responsibility for the output.
• Examine AI-generated code prior to deployment for accuracy, security, and type safety.
• Manage what you release: overseeing monitoring, reliability, costs, and failure modes in a production environment.
• Contribute to collective engineering standards, playbooks, and internal tools.
• Typically possess 3-9 years of professional software engineering experience. Experience is a consideration, not a barrier - we prioritize what you’ve delivered and your thought process.
• End-to-end product delivery: you have successfully shipped and operated production software for real users - focusing on complete products from inception to deployment, rather than isolated features.
• Backend engineering: skilled in Python or Go (or both); you can independently manage a service from design through to deployment on Cloud Run.
• Frontend engineering: adept in TypeScript / React; comfortable in developing UI-complete features like internal dashboards or administrative tools.
• Cloud infrastructure: you deploy and manage on GCP and are knowledgeable about IAM, secrets management, Cloud Run, and deployment pipelines.
• API and systems integration: you have experience connecting various third-party platforms in production - including REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth flows, and event-driven patterns - with a solid understanding of handling failures, retries, and schema drift.
• Security fundamentals: no hardcoded credentials; you utilize secrets management (SOPS, Secret Manager, or similar); avoid PII in logs; maintain rigorous AppSec hygiene.
• AI in the development lifecycle: you actively utilize AI tools (Claude Code or similar) throughout the entire SDLC, critically reviewing AI-generated outputs for accuracy, security, and type safety, and can guide AI through multi-step implementation tasks while taking ownership of the results.
