This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take charge of Paires' communication: ensuring every response is timely and well-managed, including booking, nurturing, and the coaching experiences we are developing using the same data.
• Develop the messaging framework for our warm outreach, investor network, and investor relations, rather than relying on a single inbox.
• Design and implement conversational agents from start to finish: managing replies, bookings, nurturing, and support that feels human-like.
• Create the evaluation framework that ensures quality control: establishing golden sets, judging criteria, and the guardrails necessary as conversations scale.
• Innovate broader applied-AI functionalities: including classification, extraction, routing, and summarization.
• Deliver conversational LLM systems into production for real users, encompassing reply handling, support, booking, or nurturing agents. Inbound work is fully considered here.
• Have personally created evaluations: developing golden sets from the ground up, establishing judging criteria, and making decisions to ship or roll back based on data.
• Have integrated LLMs with various platforms such as email, CRM, or messaging systems.
• Approach problems with an operational mindset, understanding the business objectives behind each message.
• Prioritize engineering skills, as our focus is approximately 80% engineering and 20% research.
• Act quickly with AI tools and take ownership of results.
• Familiarity with our tech stack: Python, Supabase, Pydantic AI, Claude Agent SDK, AWS. Highlight any experience you have with these technologies. Bonus points for experience in email and CRM integrations, RevOps exposure, or sales and investor relations experience.
• Fully remote and asynchronous work environment.
• Access to top-tier AI tools at no cost (Claude Code, Cursor, leading models).
