Applied AI Engineer – AI Neobank App

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Develop AI-driven workflows, assistants, agents, and automation solutions.

• Implement AI in areas such as customer support, CRM, onboarding, claims, renewals, payments, operations, and internal tools.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transform manual processes into scalable AI-native systems.

• Create integrations with LLMs, internal data, APIs, documents, knowledge bases, and business systems.

• Design evaluation, monitoring, and fallback mechanisms to ensure AI outputs are valuable, safe, and dependable.

• Rapidly prototype, conduct tests with users or operators, and then transition successful solutions to production.

• Enhance speed, quality, and consistency across workflows by leveraging AI where it provides significant business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid software engineering background, ideally with experience in Python and backend systems.

• Practical experience in building with LLM APIs, agents, RAG, workflow automation, or AI tools.

• Ability to connect AI solutions with tangible products, data, and operational workflows.

• Good judgment on determining when AI is beneficial versus when rule-based systems or human oversight are preferable.

• Knowledge of evaluation, accuracy, latency, costs, privacy, and failure modes.

• Quick builder who can prototype, test, and deploy practical systems efficiently.

• Experience in fintech, insurance, support automation, CRM, or operational automation is a significant plus.
