Applied AI Engineer – AI Neobank App

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Develop workflows, assistants, agents, and automation systems powered by AI.

• Implement AI solutions across various areas including customer support, CRM, onboarding, claims, renewals, payments, operations, and internal tools.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transform manual processes into scalable AI-native systems.

• Create integrations with LLMs, internal data sources, APIs, documents, knowledge bases, and business systems.

• Design evaluation, monitoring, and fallback processes to ensure AI outputs are effective, safe, and dependable.

• Rapidly prototype, test with users or operators, and then scale successful solutions.

• Enhance speed, quality, and consistency across workflows by leveraging AI where it delivers significant business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid foundation in software engineering, ideally with Python and backend systems.

• Practical experience in building with LLM APIs, agents, RAG, workflow automation, or AI tools.

• Capable of integrating AI systems with actual products, data, and operational workflows.

• Good judgment on identifying scenarios where AI is beneficial versus those where rule-based systems or human oversight are preferable.

• Knowledge of evaluation metrics, accuracy, latency, cost, privacy, and potential failure modes.

• Quick builder who can prototype, test, and deploy effective systems.

• Experience in fintech, insurance, support automation, CRM, or operations automation is highly advantageous.
