Applied AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate Lead Claude Code Labs and customer workshops

• Guide customer teams from novice to expert across Claude Code, Claude for Work, Cowork, and the developer platform

• Systematize deployment patterns and provide feedback to forgd's methodology and Anthropic's product teams

• Convert Lead discovery into customer environments—engineering toolchains and workflows, business operations, and organizational dynamics—and develop clear technical plans

• Offer insights on how AI-native development alters current engineering practices: issue management, branching, testing, code review, and security

• Steer adoption initiatives that expand Claude's use across engineering teams and into business units

• Create Scope engagements: assumptions, risks, milestones, and dependencies

• Collaborate with customer teams to co-develop agentic applications on the Claude developer platform

• Produce technical artifacts—evaluation frameworks, MCP servers, sub-agents, and deployment configurations—customized to the customer's technology stack

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years in a customer-facing technical role—Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Technical Consultant—or in a hands-on engineering position as a Software Engineer or Product Engineer

• Experience in software development within a high-scale startup or enterprise environment; you understand the process of writing, shipping, and managing production code

• Proven production experience with LLMs—prompt engineering, agent design, and evaluation frameworks

• Proficient user of Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants; you actively engage in AI-native development

• Knowledge of enterprise development toolchains, CI/CD, and contemporary SDLC practices, along with cloud-native deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Strong communication skills that resonate across various roles—individual contributors, engineering leaders, and business stakeholders

• High level of agency and comfort with ambiguity; you function independently in customer environments

• Nice to Have: Experience in professional services or consulting; a history of enhancing developer productivity or experience at scale; domain knowledge in financial services, healthcare, or other regulated sectors; experience in leading organizational change
