Applied AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Empower

• Direct Claude Code Labs and facilitate customer workshops

• Elevate customer teams from novice to advanced users across Claude Code, Claude for Work, Cowork, and the developer platform

• Document deployment patterns and relay them to forgd's methodology and Anthropic's product teams

• Transform

• Lead explorations into customer environments — including engineering toolchains and workflows, business operations, and organizational dynamics — to create clear technical plans

• Provide guidance on how AI-native development alters existing engineering practices: issue management, branching, testing, code review, and security

• Oversee adoption programs that expand the use of Claude within engineering teams and business units

• Construct

• Define engagement scopes: assumptions, risks, milestones, and dependencies

• Collaborate with customer teams to co-develop agentic applications on the Claude developer platform

• Create technical documentation — evaluation frameworks, MCP servers, sub-agents, and deployment configurations — customized for the customer's technology stack

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years in a customer-facing technical position — Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Technical Consultant — or in a practical engineering role as a Software Engineer or Product Engineer

• Experience in software development within a high-growth startup or enterprise setting; you understand what is needed to write, deploy, and maintain production code

• Hands-on experience with LLMs — including prompt engineering, agent design, and evaluation frameworks

• Proficient user of Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants; you actively engage in AI-native development

• Knowledge of enterprise development toolchains, CI/CD, modern SDLC practices, and cloud-native deployment on AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Strong communication skills that resonate across various levels — from individual contributors to engineering leadership and business stakeholders

• High level of agency and comfort with ambiguity; you thrive in autonomous customer environments
