Applied AI Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Act as a hands-on senior technical architect within the Applied AI Engineering team.

• Take ownership of the complete design and execution of AI-driven business transformation initiatives.

• Collaborate with pre-sales teams to outline technical integration and implementation strategies.

• Convert business requirements into architectural designs.

• Manage detailed technical designs and steer post-sales execution.

• Develop code for proofs-of-concept, custom integrations, and solution prototypes.

• Create, configure, and deploy intelligent agents utilizing the DevRev platform.

• Integrate AI agents with CRMs, APIs, databases, and other external services.

• Optimize prompts, logic, and agent configurations to enhance accuracy, reliability, and scalability.

• Work collaboratively with customers to establish technical agent specifications.

• Conduct live demonstrations and rapidly refine proofs-of-concept based on customer feedback.

• Develop project plans, coordinate internal teams, and ensure timely delivery of deployments.

• Provide guidance to customers on AI agent architecture, performance, and long-term scalability.

• Engage directly with customers approximately 80% of the time.

• Collaborate across pre-sales, customer success, engineering, and product teams.

• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and implement critical technical components.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, or technical consulting.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript/JavaScript and Python.

• Familiarity with data structures and algorithms.

• Knowledge of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, RAG, function calling, and building evaluations for agentic AI solutions.

• Practical experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Proficient in modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD, containers, and observability.

• Experience with system integration using APIs, webhooks, and event/data pipelines.

• Skilled in A/B testing, telemetry, and metrics analysis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts to engineers and business stakeholders.

• Advanced degrees or certifications in AI/architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or SAFe are advantageous.

• Candidates shortlisted will be required to undergo Background Verification (BGV).

• Customer-facing experience is a plus.

• Proficiency in Go is desirable.
