Applications Engineer – Poultry

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with clients at their food manufacturing facilities.

• Collect and prioritize client requirements while present on site.

• Evaluate customer production lines and offer feedback for enhancing processes.

• Identify essential information and resources, and investigate alternatives.

• Determine solutions and adjust portioning system software to fulfill client needs.

• Gather data, analyze trends, and convey findings.

• Organize customer visits in alignment with departmental priorities and strategic initiatives.

• Report directly to the DSI Application Manager.

• Assist with automated waterjet portioning, trimming, and sorting solutions for food manufacturers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Poultry Science, or Meat Science.

• Over 1 year of experience with technical concepts related to computers, software, and robotics principles.

• Capability to creatively interpret client requirements into practical solutions.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

• Willingness to travel approximately 90% of the time.
