Applications Engineer – Autonomy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Travel globally (~50% of the time) to assist customers with software integration and development tasks.

• Gain expertise in the Hivemind enterprise software suite and its various autonomy components.

• Offer technical support and training to clients.

• Create AI and Autonomy applications utilizing the Shield AI enterprise software development kit.

• Support the sales team during pre-sales efforts, including demonstrations, conferences, and immersive experiences.

• Aid in the post-sales deployment and integration of Shield AI enterprise software solutions.

• Produce and update technical documentation and training resources.

• Assist clients in troubleshooting software/API integration challenges.

• Work collaboratively with the product engineering team to respond to customer feedback and enhance products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in the industry.

• More than 2 years of experience in an integration/applications engineering position.

• At least 2 years of experience in a startup setting.

• Strong technical foundation in software engineering.

• High proficiency in writing modern C++ code.

• Intermediate skills in Python programming.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
