This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with users and leadership to create or adjust procedures in line with workflow process changes related to the use of Epic clinical and business applications.

• Provide users with explanations of assigned Epic applications and associated systems.

• Support users in utilizing the complete functionality of applications.

• Prepare requirements-definition inputs, including user procedures, flowcharts, preliminary reports, and screen definitions.

• Aid in unit, integration, system, and end-user acceptance testing; execute tests and monitor problem reports.

• Prioritize, review, and clarify user requests in collaboration with users and team members.

• Assist in conducting impact analysis.

• Document workflows, specifications, user manuals, procedures, and any related information.

• Complete change and quality-control documentation adhering to departmental standards.

• Engage in testing, user training, and evaluation of results.

• Track standardized projects and keep users and management updated on progress and potential delays.

• Monitor and document post-implementation issues and revision requests.

• Identify ongoing application-system concerns and communicate patterns to Senior/Lead Application Product Analysts.

• Maintain product documentation, including requirements, functional specifications, installation instructions, test procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.

• Update clinic users on project status and upgrades, including any potential delays or downtime.

• Develop and sustain knowledge of clinical/laboratory and business operations that support Epic applications.

• Assist in scheduling and managing application version upgrades.

• Participate in the maintenance, enhancement, and interfacing of assigned applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve user issues.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related field.

• Generally requires 1 year of experience in automated laboratory and/or business systems.

• Acquire EPIC certification(s) within 6 months and maintain annual educational requirements as mandated by the department.

• Fundamental understanding of computer operating platforms, application software, and network software.

• Analytical skills to provide recommendations based on data analysis and business needs.

• Ability to convert user requirements into system specifications.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) or equivalent products.

• Basic knowledge of large-scale automated systems.

• Capability to prepare, import, and manipulate data in spreadsheets and databases.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Excellent listening and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate in both technical and business-friendly terms.

• Basic knowledge of project management software, tools, and methodologies.

• Familiarity with and ability to adhere to change management processes.

• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with clinical and technical customers, vendors, peers, and management.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and complete assignments thoroughly and punctually.

• Willingness to undertake work-related travel.

• Ability to operate all necessary equipment for the position.

• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
