This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Support the testing and implementation of software installations and upgrades for systems and applications.
• Engage in change management and control processes.
• Aid in the administration of workstations and servers.
• Conduct data backups and assist with recovery operations.
• Help monitor capacity, manage disk space, and oversee license management.
• Execute and supervise quality assurance procedures.
• Participate in the on-call rotation schedule.
• Assist with the resolution of routine problems and vendor-related issues.
• Code, test, debug, document, and maintain standard application support software.
• Customize purchased applications to meet specific needs and configurations.
• Support the installation of clinical and ancillary device integration solutions.
• Gather and document technical requirements to fulfill business needs.
• Assist in designing application support software based on detailed specifications.
• Communicate project updates and potential issues to project coordinators.
• Assess client requests to evaluate their impact and the required effort.
• An Associate's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Fundamental knowledge of hardware and software in clinical and/or business environments.
• Capability to convert user requirements into system specifications.
• Average organizational and analytical abilities.
• Moderate skills in problem-solving and issue resolution.
• Average proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and complete assignments in a thorough and timely manner.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Typically exposed to a standard office environment.
• Competent in operating all necessary equipment to perform job functions.
