This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.
• Deliver technical assistance for enterprise-level application systems.
• Address general inquiries and resolve trouble tickets promptly.
• Investigate, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues while proactively identifying potential solutions.
• Determine the root causes of application errors and escalate significant concerns.
• Document procedures and monitor application performance metrics.
• A bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field.
• Experience as an application support engineer in a comparable domain.
• Demonstrated experience in supporting Java applications.
• Proficient with Spring Boot, JVM, JMeter & JBoss, Spring Integration, Linux, Microservices, SQL, Incident Management, and SRE.
• Familiarity with Application Performance Management, shell scripting, and some basic coding experience in Java.
• Experience with DevOps will be regarded as an advantage.
• Candidates must be open to working in shifts.
• Clear scope with no ambiguity regarding deliverables.
