Application Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and implement cutting-edge software solutions that meet both client and organizational requirements.

• Evaluate user needs alongside software specifications.

• Develop applications and solutions that are both scalable and functional.

• Utilize various programming languages and technologies to build software programs and systems.

• Engage in proof-of-concept projects for new technologies.

• Assist in identifying and promoting the adoption of best engineering practices.

• Maintain compliance with technology standards, change management, release management, application lifecycle, and enterprise architecture best practices.

• Manage the deployment pipeline, ensuring that code commits are automatically tested, security-scanned, and deployed utilizing modern CI/CD tools.

• Document software using code, diagrams, charts, Markdown, and other documentation systems.

• Work collaboratively with software engineers, project managers, product owners, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.

• Involve yourself in the complete software development lifecycle, from planning through to deployment and support.

• Contribute to code reviews and support the establishment of technology standards, best practices, and software development lifecycle processes.

• Keep abreast of the latest industry trends and technological advancements.

• Report directly to the Senior Software Development Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Knowledge of modern application architectures and programming, covering both backend and frontend development.

• Proficiency in technologies such as Python, Node.js, jQuery, Angular, React, Flask, or similar.

• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and other types of databases.

• Familiarity with web services and APIs, including RESTful and SOAP.

• Experience with cloud services like Azure and AWS.

• Familiarity with AI-driven development tools aimed at enhancing code quality, acceleration, and automated testing.

• Background in building capabilities integrated with AI.

• Experience with lean and Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent organizational, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated initiative, creativity, sound judgment, and capacity to work independently under pressure in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to make timely and informed decisions in situations of uncertainty, variable risk, and ambiguous information.
