Application Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist security professionals and developers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), particularly in requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, integration, verification, and maintenance of DevSecOps environments.

• Integrate security measures into Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps pipelines.

• Engage in both offensive and defensive strategies for AI models, inference endpoints, and Managed Cloud Platform (MCP) servers.

• Develop new interactive lessons and security-related content.

• Create tools that facilitate the rapid and streamlined release of new content.

• Maintain and update existing courses, lessons, and challenges.

• Discover methods to enhance, streamline, and scale business processes.

• Ensure that final outputs align with organizational quality standards.

• Provide support to professionals by addressing questions in support forums.

• Investigate cutting-edge technologies to create lab scenarios.

• Design lab infrastructure that enables learners to concentrate on specific skills.

• Actively assist learners with their inquiries.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in application security or product security roles.

• A strong desire to work with DevSecOps, artificial intelligence, cloud-native technologies, and Zero Trust networks.

• Solid understanding of application security principles and tools.

• A passion for advancing Application Security (AppSec) and DevSecOps practices.

• Proficiency in Bash, Python, and Go programming languages.

• Capability to compose detailed technical documentation and develop presentations.

• Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic startup environment.

• Willingness to assume additional responsibilities.

• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision in a remote team environment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
