Application Reader

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Report to the Manager of Part-Time Readers.

• Review assigned admission applications after completing the necessary training.

• Adhere to established deadlines for application reviews.

• Undertake small projects related to application review as they become available.

• Primarily work from October through March, with training scheduled in August/September and potential projects in spring/summer.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is required.

• 2-4 years of experience in college admissions or college counseling is preferred.

• Familiarity with admission practices and procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Knowledge of student database management systems.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and success-oriented environment.

• The role may necessitate evening and weekend work to meet application deadlines.

• Reliable internet access is required from home.
