Application Manager – ServiceNow

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Platform administration: You will oversee the technical operation, monitor system performance, and carry out maintenance tasks and updates of the ServiceNow instances.

• Configuration & development: You will independently implement technical requirements through module configuration and develop or adapt automated workflows.

• Data model project focus: You will lead the implementation of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), maintain it, and construct a structured CMDB to transparently depict the application and infrastructure landscape.

• System integration: You will provide technical support for integrating ServiceNow with the existing system landscape and the API platform, working closely with the integration architecture team.

• Troubleshooting: You will analyze and effectively resolve complex technical incidents within the platform.

• Governance & standards: You will ensure platform governance by following best practices and conduct technical reviews of implementations.

• Stakeholder management: You will technically manage external implementation partners and work closely with IT architecture and business units to specify new solutions.

• Documentation: You will create and maintain the technical platform documentation along with the corresponding configuration guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in (business) informatics or an equivalent IT qualification with relevant professional experience.

• ServiceNow expertise: Proven experience in administering and configuring the ServiceNow platform.

• Methodological knowledge: Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL) and familiarity with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).

• Technical strength: Experience in process automation and ideally knowledge of API-based system integration.

• Personal attributes: Possess analytical thinking, a structured approach to work, and the ability to translate complex requirements into technical concepts.
