Application Engineering Manager – Power Distribution

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Supervising the team that delivers technical support to all Power Distribution clients across the United States

• Collaborating with territory sales managers and the Vice President of Sales to advance both new and existing products

• Aiding R&D in the creation of customer-focused new offerings and opportunities for cost savings

• Delivering technical answers to all customer inquiries

• Promoting new and existing products while assisting with quotes and orders as necessary throughout the USA

• Leading a team of regional applications engineers

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical)

• Over 5 years of experience in Engineering, ideally in Wire and Cable

• In-depth engineering knowledge

• Strong computer skills, particularly proficient in Excel

• Capacity to engage in cross-functional teams and influence within a matrix organization

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Must possess the skill to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

• Ability to think and act LEAN to enhance internal processes and customer offerings

• Willingness to travel to customer sites, manufacturing facilities, industry conferences, and trade shows (at least 25%), including international travel - in accordance with company travel policy
