This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Transform Broadcom’s global vKS vision into implementable programs for EMEA, aiming for adoption, pipeline growth, and customer success.
• Act as Broadcom’s representative in strategic accounts, influencing the roadmaps of CIOs and CTOs.
• Position VMware Cloud Foundation with vSphere Kubernetes Service as the preferred enterprise Kubernetes platform.
• Provide guidance on solution design for container-based applications, infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with the platform and infrastructure teams of customers.
• Work alongside regional account executives on technical validation, ensuring presales success, and facilitating professional services scoping and delivery handoffs.
• Gather customer insights to shape the direction of vKS and VCF products.
• Build, mentor, and motivate a regional Application Engineering team.
• Develop scalable best practices, frameworks, and enablement models.
• Promote the adoption of vKS and compete with Red Hat OpenShift by engaging customers, ISVs, and SaaS companies.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Over 10 years of experience in enterprise application engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience working with cloud-native and Kubernetes platforms.
• Solid background in Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, open-source tools, pipeline automation, and enterprise deployment methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with platform teams.
• CNCF certifications are required.
• Proven experience leading technical teams across a geographic region, either directly or in a matrixed environment.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to persuade enterprise decision-makers.
• Extensive experience in scaling Kubernetes, containers, or modern application platforms within large, regulated enterprises.
• In-depth understanding of cloud-native architectures, including microservices, APIs, CI/CD, and event-driven designs.
• Technical proficiency in Kubernetes, VCF, containers, EKS, AKS, GKE, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Capable of understanding and writing YAML scripts.
• Proven ability to collaborate across sales, business development, and delivery functions.
• Experience with middleware, databases, API management, or application frameworks like Spring or React is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of high availability, scalability, compliance, RTO/RPO, networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Previous experience engaging regional teams to drive co-selling initiatives.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
