This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• The Application Engineer – Wireline & Energy Services is a senior technical position that provides support for wireline and oilfield service applications concerning testing, data management, and cross-functional execution.
• This role entails managing all wireline applications testing, enhancing technical data management practices, acting as a technical liaison between engineering, operations, R&D, and commercial teams, and implementing standards to ensure data integrity and service quality.
• Offer technical client-facing support for the development, design, and validation of tests.
• Create test programs and establish processes related to testing to guarantee the safe and efficient execution of tests.
• Design and document all data requirements concerning testing, generate reports, and oversee data integrity and systems.
• Work collaboratively with all departments to disseminate best practices and ensure alignment.
• Assist Sales and Marketing by validating and creating case studies, job information forms, job programs, and technical papers.
• A minimum of 5–7+ years of experience in the wireline industry.
• A relevant degree or diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution, preferably in science or engineering.
• Over 7 years of experience in engineering, applications engineering, or product development within the oil and gas or energy services sectors.
• Advanced technical skills across various technology platforms (Office, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence tools) with proven expertise in report generation, modeling, and trend forecasting.
• Proficient in analyzing and interpreting geoscience, petrophysical, and production data, and presenting results, recommendations, and best practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong interest in research and data analysis.
• A highly collaborative work style complemented by problem-solving abilities and a focus on achieving results.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly and influencing both technical and non-technical teams.
