Application Engineer – Welding Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the sales team to analyze customer needs, propose, and develop robotic solutions.

• Present proof of concept and other demonstrations to customers effectively.

• Ensure that all solutions meet customer specifications and adhere to relevant code requirements.

• Work closely with customers, internal teams, and potentially third-party entities to resolve issues, manage changes in proposals or documentation, and align on requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology with 5 years of experience in Robotic Welding, or an Associate’s degree with 8 years of experience in Offline programming such as Robot Studio or similar.

• Proficient in presenting and engaging with customers at all levels, as well as collaborating with peer teams (sales, project management, etc.).

• Capability to interpret welding drawings, comprehend welding industry codes, and possess knowledge of welding processes (laser, plasma, etc.) is preferred.

• Knowledge of automation engineering is a plus.
