Application Engineer – Technical Sales, Defense

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The North America Defense Application Engineer will oversee technical sales for defense-oriented initiatives.

• Delivering technical guidance throughout the sales project lifecycle, from defining requirements and system architecture to proposal submissions, design evaluations, and customer interactions.

• Serve as a crucial technical liaison with defense clients, prime contractors, and internal teams including engineering, product management, and program management to ensure solutions align with functional requirements, technical and environmental standards, and mission goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or a closely related technical field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 5 years of advancing engineering experience, which includes roles in application engineering, systems engineering, or power systems that support complex technical initiatives.

• At least 3 years of experience in drafting technical proposals for electrical systems.

• Proven experience in defense, naval, or government-funded projects, with direct engagement with customers and program stakeholders.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Capable of obtaining a SECRET security clearance.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% based on business requirements.
