Application Engineer – Energy & Power

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design electrical power systems using Eplan according to client requirements.

• Deploy the Eplan software platform at client locations, providing onboarding and training for engineering teams while guiding them through the implementation process.

• Cultivate relationships with both new and existing clients through virtual and in-person coaching and consultations to showcase EPLAN products.

• Expand your portfolio of prospects and customer development by identifying opportunities, coaching, and conducting analyses.

• Work collaboratively with company resources to optimize opportunities during the pre-sale phase.

• Conduct demonstrations and presentations of solutions for customers and prospects at commercial and industrial sites.

• Represent the company at trade shows and local markets to enhance awareness of the capabilities EPLAN offers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate’s degree in computer-aided design or a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.

• Over 3 years of experience in electric utilities, switchgear, substation design, or renewable energy.

• Experience in substation design is preferred.

• Strong preference for experience in protection and control (P&C) design.

• More than 3 years of using CAE or CAD tools for electrical panel or substation design.

• Preferred experience with system integration, manufacturing, and electrical utilities.

• IT and application skills including knowledge of network solutions, Windows Server, Windows OS, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
