Senior Applications Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in advancing population health, value-based care, financial analytics, and data-driven clinical operations throughout the OHSU Health System.

• Create, enhance, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions.

• Design and construct scalable data architectures, establish and uphold ETL pipelines, and support analytics for clinical and operational leaders.

• Guarantee the accuracy, dependability, and security of healthcare encounters, financial data, and claims information.

⛳️ Requirements

• One of the following: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field plus 8 years of IT experience, or a combination of clinical and operational settings.

• Associate’s degree along with 9 years of IT experience or a mix of clinical and operational environments.

• 10 years of experience in IT, clinical, or operational healthcare.

• An equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience substitutes for an Associate’s degree and two years of experience substitutes for a Bachelor’s degree.

• At least 2 years of experience as an Application Engineer/Developer utilizing SQL Server SSIS.

• Over 2 years of advanced SQL or T-SQL development and performance tuning experience.

• Familiarity with ETL development, dimensional modeling, metadata management, and technical documentation.

• More than 3 years of experience working with relational databases.
