This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Deliver technical support and recommendations for product and part design to assigned customers, distributors, sales teams, application development groups, operations, quality assurance, and complaint resolution processes.
• Act as the technical lead for key Aerospace & Defense customer accounts, driving application development and fostering business growth.
• Facilitate training seminars and technical presentations for distributors, customers, industry conferences, and trade shows.
• Lead or assist in technical programs for customers and distributors aimed at future commercialization qualifications.
• Coordinate product evaluations, data generation initiatives, and laboratory-based functional testing.
• Cultivate expertise in end-use applications to provide robust support to customers.
• Prepare and contribute to product documentation, sales tools, and case studies.
• Author and publish technical papers and articles.
• Provide insights to influence Aerospace & Defense business and marketing strategies.
• Gather, document, and share value-in-use information along with competitive intelligence.
• Offer technical support to global and regional Centers of Excellence programs.
• Lead or participate in R&D initiatives for new product and application development.
• Engage in New Part Commercialization by translating customer needs into part specifications, quotes, and ensuring timely fulfillment of new part orders.
• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline is required.
• A Master's degree is preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in aerospace engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven expertise in Aerospace & Defense applications.
• Strong professional relationships and an established network within the industry.
• Demonstrated experience in composite manufacturing, application development, and advanced engineered materials.
• Capability to collaborate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, R&D, supply chain, sales, and marketing teams.
• Ability to lead intricate technical programs, manage competing priorities, and deliver results within deadlines.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts to customers, industry partners, and executive stakeholders.
• Proven experience in customer-facing roles, building and sustaining long-term strategic relationships.
• Strong project management capabilities, including planning, milestone tracking, and execution.
• Ability to convert customer needs and application requirements into material selection criteria, testing methodologies, and technical development plans.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
• Authorization to access export-controlled technology, technical data, or defense services as per US regulations or through export authorizations approved by DuPont.
