This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and execute custom applications and workflows on the ServiceNow platform.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
• Configure and tailor existing ServiceNow modules.
• Integrate ServiceNow with external applications.
• Create and uphold high-quality, secure, and well-documented code.
• Perform testing to ensure the functionality and performance of ServiceNow applications.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to ServiceNow.
• Maintain existing solutions, which include business rules, UI policies, client scripts, ACLs, workflows, dashboards, reporting, data imports, and service catalog development.
• Keep updated with the latest ServiceNow features and functionalities.
• Offer training and support to end-users.
• Deliver code and application configurations in accordance with a formalized Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Encourage mature practices in code development and release.
• Establish a robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.
• At least 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow developer.
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience with the ServiceNow Development Studio.
• Proficient scripting skills in GlideScript and UI Script.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, and Integration Hub.
• Experience with Service Catalog.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience with Integration Hub REST API.
• Expert understanding of SDLC.
• Certified ServiceNow Administrator.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Enthusiasm for continuous learning and staying updated with ServiceNow advancements.
• Preferred: at least one year of experience in a data center or other relevant critical process environment.
• Preferred experience in Customer Experience, ITOM, CMDB, Security Operations, and Customer Service Management.
• Preferred ITIL v3/v4 certification.
• Preferred Certified ServiceNow Application Developer.
• Preferred CSM or Agile certification.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, writing, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision on projects of varying complexity.
