This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +9 more states.
• Assist in performing analysis and design activities for application systems, which includes gathering requirements, creating specifications, configuring, documenting, testing, and implementing solutions.
• Provide support for applications, troubleshoot issues, offer training, and generate reports.
• Conduct design analysis for applications, plan implementations, and optimize the benefits of the applications.
• Acquire a solid understanding of assigned applications along with the associated development and maintenance tools.
• Aid in resolving issues, monitor them, and deliver updates to colleagues, leadership, and clients under supervision.
• Support designated tasks and projects while ensuring deadlines are met under supervision.
• Assist in gathering requirements and developing an understanding of client business needs, organizational structure, and supported applications.
• Create reference materials, status reports, and documentation for the applications and related technologies being supported.
• Engage in departmental initiatives and processes, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Log work efforts, including time, tasks, projects, incidents, and enhancements, and communicate work status in a timely manner.
• Participate in an on-call rotation during business hours, after hours, on weekends, and holidays under supervision.
• Travel occasionally as necessary.
• An Associate’s degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business, or two years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
• No previous experience is required.
• Obtain and maintain at least one vendor and/or industry certification or proficiency as specified by management.
• Strong skills in organization, problem-solving, analysis, oral and written communication, and presentations.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively while managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Qualities of dependability, accountability, curiosity, adaptability, commitment to continuous learning, appropriate escalation of issues, and adherence to departmental processes and documentation standards.
• Understanding of clinical and compliance implications, along with a respect for confidential information.
• Ability to thrive in a matrixed environment and develop an understanding of Bimodal work principles.
• Availability during primary business hours from Monday to Friday, with potential for weekend and holiday work.
• Ability to provide after-hours on-call support.
