This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.
• Facilitate the development of vision, design solutions, provide guidance on standards, scope projects, integrate IS strategy, and implement efficient technology and application systems.
• Assess technology, systems, and application capabilities; analyze workflow and data flow; and devise efficient, logical solutions.
• Plan, schedule, review, and conduct analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation of assigned technology and application systems.
• Engage in solution testing and document clear, concise system descriptions that align with project requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with FMOLHS Information Services, leadership, team members, and end users to create cost-effective system specifications.
• Apply project management methodologies, processes, and systems to guarantee effective project completion.
• Assess programming requests and deliver completion schedules.
• Develop and execute data-driven methodologies for performance improvement.
• Maintain precise organizational performance records and advise management on related issues and challenges.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of FMOLHS data in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends through seminars, workshops, professional conferences, and professional organizations.
• Utilize IS project management methodologies and best practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and outcomes.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Application System Analyst (IS Architect), or 5 years of FMOLHS IS experience, or 1 year as an Application System Specialist.
• Bachelor's degree in an IS field, or 5 years of technical IT experience, or 3 years of FMOLHS IT experience, or 3 years as a current Licensed Clinical Professional (RN, MT, RT, RRT, CRT, Dietitian), or 3 years as a Supervisor of Pharmacy Tech, or a Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management with 3 years of HIM professional experience, or 3 years as a User Liaison with relevant EMR build certification.
• Relevant EMR build certification for the User Liaison pathway.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Frequent use of hands and fingers required.
• Good visual and auditory acuity.
• Predominantly sedentary work environment.
