This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas.
• Address intricate Production challenges.
• Serve as the escalation point for the Service Desk.
• Regularly monitor Service Desk calls and promptly assist users.
• Take primary ownership of the Production environment for one or more applications.
• Create documentation for issue resolution procedures.
• Provide training to Service Desk personnel for handling routine issues.
• Suggest and implement system modifications to mitigate frequent issues.
• Oversee and/or execute essential off-hours processes.
• Ensure the security of the system (user accounts, responsibilities, passwords, etc.).
• Document the Production processing timeline.
• Proactively engage in routine preventative measures.
• Contribute to both short-term and long-term planning for future IT advancements and undertake regular project tasks.
• Monitor and resolve ETL Processes.
• Conduct testing as required.
• Perform assigned routine application maintenance.
• Execute regular portal administration duties.
• Manage Schedule Jobs.
• Maintain a high and increasing level of expertise in software and technologies supported by the IT Department.
• Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and standards for all projects. Engage in pre-task planning and report any safety concerns to management.
• Ensure quality standards are upheld across all projects.
• Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in application programming, design, and testing.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license with a satisfactory violation history may be necessary.
• Must possess skills in three or more of the following areas:
• Relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
• API-based data access (REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
• Python programming.
• Java programming.
• API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Insomnia, etc.).
• Test automation concepts.
• Microsoft ASP.NET.
• Microsoft SharePoint.
• Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server.
• Microsoft VB.NET.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history is required.
