Appeals Associate Attorney

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Preparing federal court briefs to contest Social Security disability determinations;

• Reviewing administrative records to pinpoint potential legal issues;

• Performing legal research across various federal circuits;

• Composing opening briefs, reply briefs, objections, post-judgment motions, and other significant filings;

• Keeping precise time records for EAJA fee petitions;

• Working collaboratively with senior attorneys who evaluate and finalize all submissions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law institution

• Current admission to at least one state bar

• Outstanding legal research and writing capabilities

• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail

• Capacity to handle a significant writing-intensive caseload

• Eagerness to learn about federal Social Security disability law

• Desire to work in an AI-driven legal environment

• Familiarity with AI-assisted legal tools (preferred)
