API Web Developer

📋 Description

• Design and create high-performance RESTful APIs that cater to the requirements of both internal and external clients.

• Collaborate with front-end developers and relevant stakeholders to seamlessly integrate APIs with user-facing components.

• Ensure the security, performance, and reliability of APIs by conducting comprehensive testing and maintaining detailed documentation.

• Monitor and enhance API performance using analytics and user feedback.

• Engage in the architecture process, contributing to the advancement of our technology stack and adherence to best practices.

• Diagnose and resolve issues within API applications, managing bug fixes and updates as required.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the development of innovative APIs that deliver business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in API development, with emphasis on designing and constructing RESTful services.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java.

• A solid understanding of API design principles and best practices, particularly concerning security and versioning.

• Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger or Postman is advantageous.

• Knowledge of database systems, both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).

• Capability to thrive in an Agile environment and actively participate in sprint planning and development cycles.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
